One day workshop held by Traffic Police | KNO

Srinagar, June 02 (KNO) : In order to familiarize the officers of Traffic Police with traffic rules / laws, one day training workshop was organized in the conference Hall of Traffic City Srinagar, today. A threadbare discussion was held on the Motor Vehicles Act followed by the question and answer session.

Speaking on the occasion, DDP THQ J&K Shri Pawan Khajuria & CPO THQ J&K Shri Surinder Kumar stressed upon the participants to make it convenient to safe guard the interest of general public and take effective action against traffic violators. SSP Traffic City Srinagar Shri Al-Tahir Gillani & SP Traffic Rural Kashmir Shri Muzaffar Ahmad Shah while speaking on the occasion stressed upon the officers that our aim should be to minimize the rate of accidents /traffic violations in J&K and to bring an order on the roads. Further it was suggested that a sense of discipline should be brought among general public with active co-operation of people and other sister agencies.

The workshop was among others attended by Addl. SP Traffic City Sgr. Mubbasher Hussain and DySsP/DTIs/SOs of Traffic Police.
